Summary

Arabic language curriculum produced by Islamic E Institute; Through it, a non-Arabic speaker learns, starting with reading basics and passing through the acquisition of linguistic vocabulary and syntactic rules that enable him to form sentences, speak for himself, write well and he will be able to speak Arabic like Arabic speakers, write articles, improvise and speak spontaneously for more than an hour.

Description

Our online Arabic course comprises four educational stages:

Preliminary Stage:

In this stage, the student learns letter pronunciation, listening, and writing, as well as the ability to read words and sentences in Arabic language.

Beginner Stage:

Students develop four key Arabic language skills:

  • Listening in Arabic to understand words and sentences.
  • Read in Arabic for accurate text interpretation.
  • Writing in Arabic, including sentence composition and short stories.
  • Arabic speaking for basic daily life conversations.

Intermediate Stage:

This stage enhances Arabic language skills through:

• Vocabulary, dialogue, and text lessons involving listening, reading, writing, speaking, summarizing, and discussing.
• Comprehensive Arabic grammar lessons.
• Expression lessons integrating all four skills.

Advanced Stage:

Focuses on Arabic grammar and morphology for proficient communication. Lessons include:

• Advanced dialogue, text, grammar, morphology, oral and written expression lessons covering all Arabic language skills.

Prerequisites

Arabic Course Requirements: Level Requirements Vary According to Stage, Age, and Arabic Proficiency.

Preliminary Level Requirements:

Student’s age should be at least 4 years old.

Beginner Level Requirements:

Student’s age should be at least 9 years old and capable of Read in Arabic and writing in Arabic.

Intermediate Level Requirements:

Student’s age should be at least 12 years old and capable of engaging in Arabic conversation about daily life.

Advanced Level Requirements:

Student’s age should be at least 15 years old, capable of discussing societal and environmental issues, and possess basic knowledge of Arabic grammar.

Preliminary Levels: Exploration Stage.

LEVELS: 2

Summary: By the end of this level, the student will have learned:
  • The names and sounds of Arabic letters.
  • Reading and writing in Arabic.
  • Forming simple sentences in Arabic.
  • New vocabulary of up to (265) words.
Level 1 Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, Preliminary Level 1 – Arabic Alphabet. Understanding the names of Arabic letters and Arabic letter sounds, and the ability to read Arabic and write in the Arabic language, while acquiring a vocabulary of (85) words. Level 2
  • Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, Preliminary Level 2 – Reading Basics. Mastering Arabic reading and Arabic writing, and the ability to form simple sentences in Arabic to express oneself, while acquiring a vocabulary of (180) words.
    LEVELS: 3
    Summary: By the end of this level, the student will have learned: Up to 750 new vocabulary words.
    • Comprehending the main idea of any audio clip in contemporary Standard Arabic. • Reading newspapers and understanding the general meaning of news articles. • Engaging in a small conversation about daily life and related topics in Arabic. • Make a small conversation in Arabic about daily life. • Speaking and expressing oneself in Arabic spontaneously for 15 minutes. • Writing an article or a letter in Arabic with a minimum of 100 words.

Level 1

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Beginner Level 1
This level includes understanding spoken Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), Fluent Arabic reading, and expressing oneself in simple Arabic. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 250 new words

Level 2

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Beginner Level 2 This level includes talking about the environment and everyday life topics, engaging in understandable communication in Arabic with others using simple Arabic language, and writing short stories and letter writing in Arabic to friends. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 250 new words.

Level 3

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Beginner Level 3 Engaging in multiple dialogues about emotions, thoughts, and aspirations for the future, reading contemporary Arabic texts and understanding their main ideas, familiarizing oneself with the sentence structure in Arabic language in its various forms, and learning how to match verbs with different pronouns. Additionally, students will acquire approximately 250 new words to expand their vocabulary.

Intermediate Levels: Comprehension Stage

LEVELS: 3

Summary: By the end of this level, the student will have learned:
• New vocabulary of up to (1500) words.
• Understanding the majority of spoken passages in contemporary Standard Arabic.
• Reading newspapers and contemporary literary articles.
• Engaging in intermediate-level conversations in Arabic and communicating with Arabic speakers.
• Speaking and expressing oneself in Arabic fluently for a continuous duration of 30 minutes.
• Writing an article or essay in Arabic of at least 150 words.

Level 1:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Intermediate Level 1
This level includes conducting multiple dialogues about environmental issues and living creatures, individual responsibilities towards community safety, reading excerpts from Arab-Islamic history, training in analysis and critique, and starting to learn Arabic grammar and applying its rules in speaking and writing. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.

Level 2:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Intermediate Level 2
This level includes discussing social occasions and the evolving nature of societies in Arabic, engaging in deeper dialogues with Arabic speakers about life issues in the past, present, and future, learning about the derivation system in the Arabic language, distinguishing between different meanings of a word based on context, applying Arabic grammatical rules for word declension, and articles in Arabic writing of at least 150 words. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.

Level 3:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Intermediate Level 3 This level includes understanding documentary films in contemporary Standard Arabic, reading literary books and contemporary Arabic novels, expressing issues of both ancient and modern life in spoken and written Modern Standard Arabic, engaging with Arab-Islamic culture at a deeper level, understanding the derivation system in the Arabic language, and grasping the rules of sentence structure and grammatical declension in Arabic grammar. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.

Advanced Levels: The Stage of Enjoyment

LEVELS: 3

Summary: By the end of this level, the student will have learned:
• New vocabulary of up to (1500) words..
• Understanding spoken passages in contemporary Standard Arabic, and some colloquial expressions in general.
• Enjoying reading contemporary novels and literary books.
• Initial understanding of classical Arabic.
• Engaging in long conversations in Arabic and having good communication with Arabic speakers.
• Speaking and expressing oneself in Arabic for a continuous duration of 60 minutes.
• Writing an article or essay in Arabic of at least 250 words.

Level 1:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Advanced Level 1 This level includes learning to engage in rich dialogue about history and culture in contemporary standard Arabic, writing lengthy essays in Arabic, arabic practice rhetoric, the art of public speaking and persuasion, analyzing and structuring Arabic sentences, distinguishing between indefinite and definite nouns, and acquiring knowledge of the most commonly used grammatical patterns. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.

Level 2:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, Advanced Level 2. This level includes managing a rich dialogue about healthy habits for humans, writing lengthy essays in Arabic, analyzing and structuring Arabic sentences, practicing Arabic rhetoric, the art of influencing and attracting an audience, distinguishing between different pronouns and verbs, and understanding the grammatical patterns of both regular and irregular verbs. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.

Level 3:

Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Advanced Level 3 This level includes managing a rich dialogue about current social issues, discussing societal problems and proposing solutions, reading literary books and contemporary Arabic novels, analyzing and critiquing articles in contemporary Arabic, practicing the principles of religious Arabic rhetoric, the art of argumentation and quotation, and the principles of semantics and expression in Arabic eloquence. Additionally, students will expand their vocabulary by acquiring approximately 500 new words.
